Shannon Airport has been chosen by Airports Council International (ACI) Europe as the Best Airport in Europe for the 1 - 5 million passenger category.
These awards were instituted in 2005 for the best airports in 5 categories from under 1 million passengers to over 25 million passengers. The judging panel was drawn from a group of airport industry experts
