Judith
and Alan Smith welcome you to their beautiful Georgian house set in the
picturesque conservation village of Newby Wiske. Alan's family have lived
in the village for over 100 years and when you see the beautiful views
over the river valley and the dramatic backdrop of the
Hambleton Hills, it's easy to see why they never want to leave.
The two comfortable double rooms are both decorated and furnished to a high
standard, with central heating and tea and coffee making to ensure your comfort.
Each room is en suite with shower. There is a choice of breakfasts, freshly
prepared to order using the best of local ingredients, that will really
set you up for the day. We are happy to offer you packed lunchs' should
you require them. All the meals are served in our spacious new conservatory,
and you can relax and unwind in our comfortable lounge with television,
a selection of magazines, books and games. The beautiful landscaped garden
is a haven for local wildlife, and wild ducks often drop by to swim on
the large pond. Well House is situated between the bustling market towns
of Thirsk ( James Herriot Country) and Northallerton which is the gateway
to both the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales. We are open throughout the
year including Christmas and New Year. For further information visit www.wellhouse-newbywiske.co.uk |
