The
Lawn Guest House is located 100 yards from the centre of the small town of Horley,
and at right angles to the flight path so there is almost no noise from the
airport.
In Horley, there are restaurants, public
houses, banks, shops, and the main line railway station (300 yds) to London
(Victoria 40 mins) and the South Coast (Brighton 45 mins).
I do not provide evening meals but each
bedroom has a folder containing a list of 15 local restaurants and pubs all
within 10 minute walking distance, together with copies of their menus and a
map showing their location. |

and a totally "non-smoking" establishment. All rooms are "en-suite", with
bath and/or shower, toilet and wash hand basin together with colour/teletext
TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, oscillating fans, tea/coffee/chocolate
facilities, and full central heating. Other
amenities include a guest's ice machine, a reception lounge, an on-line Internet
computer for guests use only and a resident's ornamental garden. |
