The big attraction is the Snowdome - a huge indoor ski slope which can't be missed as you approach the town centre.
Snowboard, ski or toboggan your way down a 170 metre slope which uses real snow especially created for the dome. The perfect way to keep cool on a hot summer's day or get in some ski-ing practice without waiting for snow.
Nearby is Drayton Manor Park - a theme park with all kinds of thrill rides and attractions for kids.
Five miles away from Tamworth is a golfer's paradise - The Belfry course, home of the Ryder Cup.
The NEC is the UK's largest exhibition space and Europe's busiest exhibition venue with over 20 halls playing host to 200 exhibitions and more than 4 million attendees each year.
A short trip away is Twycross Zoo Set in 50 acres of parkland, the zoo is home to 1000 or so animals, most of which are endangered species.
